Yesterday was the last day of the 10,000 Lakes Regional. In the morning, we had two seeding matches left. During our last match, we had connection problems with the robot again. We were able to use autonomous, which worked great, but when it switched to humans driving, the robot quit working a shut off. This had been happening multiple times during the regional, and not just with our team. Before lunch, many teams confronted inspectors and referees about the problem. They figured out, after talking with the teams, that our cameras should have been set at a lower quality image. There was too much information being sent through the wireless system when the robots switched to autonomous with the cameras set the way they were, and that caused the robots to shut down. Unfortunantly, this was figured out after all the seeding matches . Our team did not make it to finals, but we do know we still have a really good robot.
We did get recognition for pit safety however! For the Industrial Safety Award, there was one team that won, and three teams that are runners up. We were one of the runners up. We recieved the Hard Hat Safety award. Great job guys, we have a working robot and we are safe!
Great job this weekend, team!
